Sankt Urban Weinhandel Weinversand is the leading distance wine selling merchant in Austria. The company was founded in 1897 by Alfons Gottardi and in 1969 the family-owned company started with their direct-marketing activities. The selection consists of Austrian wines as well as an exclusive range of French and Italian wines and quality products from all over the world.

Core Activity:

Our private customers are exclusively in Austria and are mailed 14 to 16 times a year. In addition, they receive 1 catalogue per year (Weinbrevier). In the autumn we also organise a tasting for our customers, normally at our offices in Innsbruck. Internet is a slowly increasing part of our business and currently represents about 10 % of our turnover.

Sankt Urban has been a member of the IWCA since 2005.
