WELCOME TO CAVA PRIVADA CLUB DE VINOS
Founded in 1995, Cava Privada is the leading wine club in Uruguay. The club's main aim is to promote Uruguay's wine culture and enable its members to learn about and enjoy the world of wine which it is passionate about.
Core Activity:
Cava Privada's principal activity is to sell exclusive wines direct to its customers throughout Uruguay. Members receive a bi-monthly magazine, Cava Privada, and an optional 6-bottle case of wine each month. As well as details of the monthly wine selection, the magazine includes articles about the world of wine, gastronomy, literature and art and the club's forthcoming activities.
Cava Privada lists wines made exclusively for it by a selection of local wineries. Wines of the month are selected for their quality and originality by a distinguished panel of experts which includes some of the top winemakers of the country. There are 4 categories of wines on offer to members: Vinisimo Monthly Selection, Discoveries and Collection series.
Since 2008, members can also take advantage of wine offers from associate wine clubs in Argentina, Spain and Canada.
The club also organises a range of activities, from winery visits, to tasting courses, winetasting dinners, presentations by wineries and winemakers from Uruguay and other countries.
